Abstract

A 380-km-long linear physiographic feature in southern Mexico extends from Perote, State of Veracruz, on the north, to Miahuatlán, State of Oaxaca, on the south. Contrasting geomorphology along this prominent physiographic feature indicates that it consists of three segments.
